I am looking for Professional Indemnity Liability Insurance for a small business.

Are there any good suggestions for companies to go with that are good and cheap?

I use the Insurance Octopus as a broker for a Hiscox policy, give a few a ring and tell them what you need covering for, mine is easy my clients usually stipulate what cover they need.

I have Hiscox- not cheap though. Not sure that this is an area in which you want to cut costs- look at cover not cost primarily. It is a core business expense.

Hiscox needn't be dear, my deal was under half what I was quoted by anyone else, so worth a call for sure.

Professional indemnity insurance isn't available from all companies.

RSA offer it as well as Hiscox. Price will depend on the cover needed, and what the business does.

We use a broker, Cavendish Munro. They have consistently fought our corner to keep our charges down. (Initially, an insuror wanted £19k for a year's cover, now more like 7k I think!!!!!)
