    Morning everyone,

Happy Birthday AOD :bdaycake: hope you have a lovely day and enjoy your lunch out.

Sunny and bright here, we are due to have a lovely day so sandals are on! Have work first and then will pick Mum up from brother's and take her to the eye clinic for her check-up, she was diagnosed with glaucoma a few years ago and they do like to keep an eye on her pardon the pun. We will pop over in to the main hospital as one of Mum's best friends is in there so will be nice for her to have visitors on a Tuesday afternoon.

Youngest SS has two exams today, re-takes from last year, he has a place at Uni for the autumn but wanted to see if he could improve on grades etc, don't envy him at all bless him :o
Yay on the weight loss Coxy :T
Anyways, better get on, have a good day all, take care folks x x

    Morning all.

Took ages to get off to sleep last night and I had another restless sleep.

One of the dogs has a bit of a funny tummy. The pet shop hadn't got their usual dog food and Lucy is struggling to adjust. Thankfully she's making it outside but she's doing a lot of scooting which isn't pleasant or hygienic on a carpeted floor and she stinks. I'm hoping I can get away with bathing half a dog as she weighs a ton when wet.

Just a few bits to do in the house today and I need to give the bathroom a good clean.

Still missing my visits to Mom.

AOD happy birthday. I hope you have a lovely day.

    Onwards and forwards

    Have a great day all

Good morning all, a lovely bright morning here in Brum.

ancientofdays a very happy birthday to you. Have a lovely day xx

Coxy11 well done on reaching your target. That's fab.xx

Yesterday I took DS to forest school. It was lovely. The children ran about freely in the woods, and the adults got a fire going and made Chappati's. DS struggles socially but seemed to have a good time.

Today I have to take DD to the dentist, as she has a problem with her jaw. (Tmj) . We did take her to the doctors but they said it's a dentist matter. Her jaw at times, seems to lock/slightly dislocate, so that needs looking at asap. Washing machine is on, so I will hang that out to dry soon.

Not sure what the rest of the day will bring. I am battling the black dog at the moment. Not sure why, but I am going to make sure that I do something lovely each day, in order to alleviate it.

I hope you all have a lovely day. Hugs to those that need one. Xx

    Happy Birthday ancient of days

    :bdaycake::bdaycake:

It looks as if it is going to be a nice day and I got the washing dried yesterday so can just enjoy the day.

Not sure when the builder is coming round to go and choose paint etc but can't wait to get the hall done. Because of the dust that will be caused by removing a wall to make a proper kitchen diner it would not be sensible to get new carpet for bedroom and living room yet but I hate being surrounded by a brown/pink/beige floor covering all over the place. It is the kind of carpet that looked old fashioned and elderly even in the eighties

One dd is in Paris and another in Stockholm on business so can't wait for the weekend when youngest pops back and hopefully we have a get together.

I hope you are feeling better and the cough is easing a bit.

Suppose I should put the kettle on and think about breakfast so see you later.

    Hugs to all.

I'm on the train and it's a lovely day for a rail journey.

The train company is Trans-Pennine and the breakfast was a cold Carluccio's almond croissant. Tasty but odd.

Happy birthday AD, hope you enjoy your day.
  • Morning ((((((((hugs)))))))))if you need one.

:Tmany happy returns aod :T enjoy your lunch.

Funeral yesterday went off very well, lovely sunny day, we did go to the reception afterwards, and we're glad we did.

Laundry out when we got home and it dried. OH cut the front grass, I did a bit of weeding. We had a hailstone storm after 7 pm there was thunder as we'll.

The cough is driving me nuts, I was awake in the night and then again just after 6 am. The nose is still snotty, it will take its time but will clear eventually.

Right time to get up, have a small load of laundry to do. OH is going to cut the meadow that is the back.

Nice sunny day here, unfortunately ly1a has to make do with a short walk on Tuesdays when I mind the little'un.He had a bad night last night,he is asthmatic like his dad DS2 and was coughing most of the night.DS hardly got any sleep so DH said he could go to work a bit later.DH had to run DS1 back anyway as his car has gone in for a new clutch this morning so a bit later start.
May have a walk to the park in a bit if DGS seems ok.Not sure whats for tea, something easy from the freezer no doubt.
    Have a good day xx

    Good afternoon,

A late post from me. It's been one of those days.

Yesterday evening was super productive. I made a healthy dinner, lunch for today along with a fruit smoothie to take into work too. Then relaxed in front of the TV and had a relatively early night.

Tonight will be the gym followed by much of the same – a chilled evening.

BTW – I started using YNAB the last 2 months. I get paid on Thursday and I’ve currently more money in my account this close to payday than I have before. Very impressed. Such a simple idea too.

    Have a lovely day everyone.

    That's very positive Speky

    Here is where
I have been for lunch, we explored the gardens, not really time to see the house today, and lunch on the terrace

Really gorgeous and I got in cheaper as over 65s are a concession group, woo, a new benefit. I did take a couple of pics but they are videos by accident and include some useful footage of my friend's foot and our hands, plus various wittering about whether or not I had the phone set to video or photographs. Since then, I have had a repeat instructional tutorial from DS. But you do get to see some garden plus a lake rippling.
I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back
