Anything besides Eurolines?

I plan on going away to Denmark in a month or so, i am scared of flying and must go by land, through the euro tunnel or by ferry to France, then go all the way to Copenhagen - usually i book a Eurolines return, but they are awful really, rude drivers, sometimes no air conditioning, uncomfortable seats and a lot of waiting around in London Victoria - around 10 hours wait time from when i get there until the coach leaves for Amsterdam at about 8 o clock that night, and London is too busy, nowhere to sit for free and pricey. I could go on about whats not to like about Eurolines travel.

I am wanting to travel better this time, i can NOT afford the trains no way, i would love to go by the train however if someone knows a cheap train from UK to Copenhagen.

If not, its a long shot - would anyone know a more comfortable, faster coach company than Eurolines?
I will be paying approx 145 quid for a return to Scotland if i must go by Eurolines again.

Thanks.
Owed out = lots.

Same answer as last time you asked:

Why not get the ferry from Newcastle to Amsterdam to eliminate a lot of the waiting around and uncomfortable coaches?
Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.

To check on trains look here https://www.seat61.com which has the definitive guide to travel from the UK to Denmark but your problem appears to have been long connections between the buses, and that isn't an easy problem to solve. It is a real pity you won't fly but if you won't there is nothing you can do about it.

Perhaps look at Ouibus operated by SNCF for coaches from London to Amsterdam but outbound it is another night service so the real issue is your journey from Scotland to London and see if a different company offers a day service that might arrive in London in the early evening, I entirely agree that Victoria Coach Station is not somewhere to spend a minute longer than necessary but realistically there are few other options.

The only other service I can find is Megabus from the UK to Amsterdam but after that you are limited to Eurolines or Flixbus but seeing the journey details would put me off the whole idea

While London can be pricey there's no reason why it has to be. If the weather is nice, as it could well be in a month's time, there are plenty of parks that you can sit in, not to mention museums and galleries. For more inspiration on a cheap visit take a look here (other websites are available).

I had a great idea, i could hire a moped and go myself saving me lots of time. Not sure about money though, i don't mean petrol money i mean Dover crossing or Newcastle to Amsterdam ferry and the next ferry from Putgarden to Rodby.

I will see if i can make a travel plan, i could hire a cheap moped and nobody would know if i took it out of the country.

just remember that mopeds are not allowed on autoroutes so factor this in when you calculate your journey time.

Sorry, but why not just go to Amsterdam and have a good time there?

Maybe there is something in Copenhagen that entices you. But Ams is so much better value than Copenhagen.

And so easy too. Sounds like a trial to get to Denmark. If it is not essential, why not go somewhere that is easy and accessible?

I am not having a go, just wondered. That's all!

I don't know if it would be financially viable but have you looked at the Immingham - Gothenburg ferry and travelling from there to Copenhagen?

Edit: Just spotted the "freight" bit so maybe it's not available for passenger travel.
