S&K Parking - HELP PLEASE

I would be so grateful if anyone can advise on this. I have been arguing with S&K Parking since September of last year to try to get photographic evidence that I overstayed my time in one of their carparks. They ignored my requests and emails - all I received was threatening letters from their debt collectors. Today I managed to get the photographs and am still no nearer. They sent 2 photographs. One showed the card going in to the car park and the other showed it exiting. But the date/time stamps on the photographs are wrong. The picture of me entering the carpark is stamped at 16.29 and the one of my exiting is 15.04! So their stamped pictures suggest that I left the car park before entering. How can they say their machines can be trusted? Hope someone can advise and thank you very much .

Apart from that just keep those photos...they are digging their own hole! Stop contacting them. Come back if they try a rare small claim:

Not sure they've ever tried. Relax! There is not always any 'next step' needed and this is one of those times.

Thank you for that. I will try to put the pics on Parking Prankster. Can S&K just say they have made a mistake and still force me to pay?

No-one can force you to pay. You will only pay if they take it to small claims, you defend (we'd assist with wording) then you go to a hearing - a bit like on Judge Rinder only without the jokes and TV cameras and shouts of 'TALKING!' - and if you then lost. THEN you would pay!

Thank you for that Ralph. What are your thoughts on the matter. I just can't see how S&K can present these photographs as evidence. Either both of their cameras are wrong or they have added the time stamps afterwards and put them on the wrong pics.

Thank you Ralph! I've been looking through the links you sent and can't believe just what they are getting away with. I've taken firmly on board all of your advice and feel much better about it all now. Until I joined MSE yesterday, I was ready to roll over and pay up. Now I definitely won't be doing that. So yes, I'm relaxing and waiting! Bless you all and I will keep you informed - or maybe you will see me on Judge Rinder! xxx
