Lidl receipt anyone?

Hi all,

I am in the process of appealing a parking ticket (issued unfairly) with Lidl but they want proof I have shopped there - even prior to the date of the ticket - but I've binned all my receipts.

I don't suppose anyone has a receipt for Lidl dated before 21.4.16 that you could let me have? I will pay postage of course. I think I will be successful if I can just get a receipt.

Surely you need the Lidl receipt for that particular store, dont you? Which store was it?

Have you paid via your debit/credit card on any visits; could you use your bank/credit card statement instead.

I've searched my statement but it's not showing up so I must have paid cash. All it says is they want proof of shopping in our store (from head office) it doesn't specify which store.

I would if I had one - but I don't like Lidl and Athena's presence infesting their car parks puts me off even more. You would be better to have wombled a receipt; I used to do that back in my Couponing days. Bit late to find an old one in a trolley now but you never know.

Take a photo of a selection of Lidl products in your kitchen cupboards/fridge etc and email it to them

scan your bank statement and obliterate everything apart from a Lidl payment


when asked by Lidl why its like that , just say its as redact as much as an Athena contract
