    I have no idea if it is or not. I'm merely suggesting a situation where those three would already be in place.

    We do know that the vendor is probably not living in the property, though, and doesn't appear to be reliant on it for a chain.
  • The property has never been let as far as I'm aware. The vendor and her partner have two properties both in the process of being sold.

    So yes, I agree, the situation is certainly more in my favour. Checking off all the legal aspects leave the vendor more exposed than me.

    I guess I'll know more by the end of the week.

    This sounds similar to people in our chain. If they cannot complete on their purchase by 1/7, they have agreed to initially rent the property from their vendor. I gather that the property has no mortgage though, it is owned outright by the vendor.
