W10 graphics driver

When I update from W8.1 to W10, AMD say that the graphics driver for my AMD Radeon HD-8370D HD graphics isn't compatible with W10. They have told me I will need to uninstall my current driver and then install their latest beta version driver.
My ignorance, but if I uninstall my current graphics driver will my PC screen still work so that I can see to download the new one etc. ?
If I do what they suggest, will my PC screen still work OK running W8.1 until I update to W10 ?

if you uninstall the one loaded now , it will revert to the basic windows vga driver
your screen size will alter and your colours go a bit wishy washy , download the new driver now and be ready to start the install when you are back to a basic driverSave a Rachael

I've just been through exactly the same situation - no Desktop Wallpaper, and resolution stuck at 1024x768.
No need to uninstall the current driver.
Go into Control Panel>Device Manager>Display adapters, and double click the listed adapter (in my case AMD Radeon HD 857D), then click the Driver tab.
Then click "Update Driver".
Choose the top option "Search automatically for updated driver software."
It'll probably take a while (mine took about 30 minutes), but it'll install a more suitable driver, which will correct the screen resolution problem.
the screen will briefly blank out a few times, as the new driver is installed, but it'll sort itself out.0 -
Bob in this case its a beta driver , not released to m/soft , most of those are an EXE package that you run and set options
OP by all means try Bobs suggestion , but be surprised if you have to run the downloaded fileSave a Rachael
