House purchased completed last month. I haven't received anything from solicitor or land registry. I should get a copy of something from land registry. Right?

Yes, but it can take a few weeks. IIRC you won't get anything directly from the Land Registry, it will come via your solicitor. If you're worried speak to them.student100 hasn't been a student since 2007...0

If it is a new build, leasehold, transfer of part or anything even slightly other than bog standard the Land Registry are currently taking 4-6 months to deal with them.
Be patient.
And, as it sounds like you don't trust your solicitor, ask for the SDLT5. This is the stamp duty 'receipt' and not normally supplied to buyersCurrently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck
