I'm actually surprised the deal didn't end in it costing £20k and him coming away smugly with the hard fought deal..

I do not think it would matter who was prime minister as some people just love to find fault with anyone and more so people in power, I do wonder if it actually just a case of the green eyed monster rearing it's ugly head.

Old cars are a lot more expensive than they used to be.

So what car exactly should he have bought to be acceptable to the green eyed brigade?
If he'd bought her a Jag, they would be called '2 Jags' in no time...so out of touch with the suffering plebiscite.
If he buys her a Micra it's a PR ploy.

I doubt the owner would have wanted the publicity of having sold a dodgy car to the PM anymore that the PM would want to be known as someone who bought a dodgy car.

So my bet is that it was one careful owner, well looked after and serviced car. The cynic in me says Sam Cam will be photographed in it a few times before it is given to her distant cousin.

I do wonder what she said to him when he turned up with it.
