Non Refundable Booking... help!

Hi everyone,
This is my first post, sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place! I booked a hotel stay in Dublin for August this year and now am unable to travel at that time. I have since found out it is a non refundable booking, I know I should have read all the details more closely at the time 😔 But unfortunately I didn't!
Does anybody know if there's any loophole or possibility of cancelling this booking without having to pay out for it because I really can't afford to pay for it if we aren't going! 🙏🏼

Depending on your reasons for cancellation, you could claim on your travel insurance.0
