holiday for family of 8 - suggestions

Hello,

trying to possibly book a holiday for October time for 2 families (6 adults and 2 children (11 and 13)). Struggling to find a comparison site that allows me to search for 4 rooms. Any suggestions? Looking for 5 star all inclusive to any sunny location (minus Turkey). A villa holiday would be great if there was a provision for all inclusive (only seen a couple of places that had that and both in Turkey).

    Hi OP,

The 13 year old will likely be classed as an adult.

You can do 4 rooms on Tripadvisor (at least to get prices for hotels). You might be best with a travel agent to price something up then approach the accom direct if you can find flights.

You don't say where you want to go (europe, americas, asia, australia etc), or what your budget is (and what you class a 5 star, as I've found most hotels in Greece would never be a 5 in my mind, but western Europe seems to be better).

Thanks that looks cracking, however the all inclusive provision and by the time we add flights costs to dominican republic it will be crazy expensive.

I know what you mean regarding 5 star, so in places like Greece and Malta it would have to be a really top notch 5 star. We're not all that bothered about location, although would ideally like to come under £3,000-3,500 total price wise which could rule out a lot of places.

Depends if that can be had with the all-inclusive.

i dont think realistically you can expect any decent 4 star, never mind 5 star for £400 pp All Inclusive.
Say 150 for flights. Luggage and transfers. That only leaves 250 for hotel. 250/7 = 36

8 people 4 rooms. Just put them in as adults. Most hotel booking sites will allow pricing that.

You will not get 5 star for less than £500 a head, you deffo will not get 5 star, all inclusive and flights for that price.

Maybe a dose of reality is needed - either up your budget, or downgrade your expectations - it is possible but very difficult to source, so you best get your google out and start searching for cheap flights and hotels.

For instance, a week in a 4 star hotel in Tenerife in October comes in at around £650 per person, a little over £5k and way over your budget.
