Bike insurance

Options
Can anyone help me please I bought a bike today a 50cc with the aim of applying for my licence today and doing my cbt at the end of the month.

Is there any insurance I can get while the bike is sitting in my porch against theft.

And what insurance do I ask for?

Check on the price difference between a 'laid up' and a regular policy.

Be prepared to pay about £30 for any policy changes in the future.

My advice would be to phone a few companies and explain your situation. Tell them you want insurance but will provide CBT details alter. They may have some better options.

Some will check and might ask for licence number, some don't check.

But don't tell them you have a licence if you don't, as when you come to change it, or make a claim, they will find out and your policy will be voided, which will cause trouble with getting policies in the future.

Call some up an just be honest about your situation and they should give you some advice and guidance :)
