Very minor patio repair

Over the winter 5 of the slabs on our patio have risen slightly - just enough to catch your toe on and trip. Gardner who did some work on garden wall for me a couple of years ago is coming tomorrow to look at work and give quote for levelling these.

Very simple work, but beyond the capabilities of 2 OAPs.

I wonder if anyone can give me a rough idea of what the cost might be? (We don't live in an expensive part of the country.)

I'd thought of 2 hours - £100 at very max, but wasn't sure if I was being realistic. Horrible feeling that I'll be told this is a major job and needs complete re-lay.

Will see what quote turns up at. If gardener turns up! Seems to be little interest in doing small jobs around this area.

Well, gardener and his builder turned up. Seems they would have to lift entire row where each raised slab is to level properly. Quoted £170.

Reckoned 3 - 4 hours work.

Agreed quote.
