Urgent help needed, paypal payment

Ive just paid for an Auction via Paypal with a credit card and the seller has sent me a note stating that they do not accept credit card as they are only allowed 2 per year and they get charged 57p to accept it

It didnt state bank funded paypal only so I used my credit card :rolleyes:

How do i cancel the payment, when i click on my paypal summary it says click on un-cleared and then cancel but all i keep getting is a summary of what un-cleared means and no cancel button

Please help a thicky figure it out as ive got to go cook my boys tea in a mo and dont have time to faff !!

If they showed the paypal / credit card logos on the listing you can insist they upgrade their account.

If they flat out refuse and you're in a hurry, buy elsewhere and report them.

if they only have a basic account then they might not even be able to take your bank funded payment if paypal link that to a registered debit card. That would mean you would have to load money onto your paypal acocunt , wait for it to show and then make payment from your credit balance.

I'm with fay, if they said they accepted paypal then insist they take it or tell them you cannot buy as they are altering the terms and conditions of sale. Then report them to ebay.
