It's very cheap because the boiler is very cheap. It could be a good buy if the boiler remains reliable, but there are no guarantees after the 3 year warranty is up.
I wouldn't recommend a 24kw boiler for any house. It's enough for heating, but you will wait a long time for lots of hot water in the winter. 32kw is a better compromise in my opinion.
Even at this cheap price, it's a lot of money down the drain if the installation isn't flushed through first, and your list of included items doesn't include a flush of the current system. If you don't flush the system, the pump will probably fail every couple of years or so.The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0 -
You'll also probably void any warranty if you don't have the system cleaned first.0

The boiler will probably cost the installer £400-450. They'll take a day to fit it, and the extra bits needed won't cost a great deal, say £100-150. The quote's quite fair.
Why people think a boiler replacement SHOULD cost £2k plus confuses me. It's a massive daily rate for anyone.0 -
I had an ideal boiler in my house and hasn't been great, it might have changed over the years tho. Go for boiler with higher warranties IMHO.[STRIKE]Deposit: 25000!!/15000[/STRIKE] Homeowner :j

If you want a cheap to buy boiler that should come in around your price above then I would recommend Ravenheat, yes I know some will scoff but they have come on leaps & bounds over the past couple of yrs & I would fit one over Ideal every day of the week
http://www.ravenheat.co.ukI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0
