Presenting Officer

Is the DWP intending to be sending a Presenting Officer to every PIP first tier tribunal? Can the Presenting Officer ask the person appealing questions?

The DWP don't turn up to the majority of First Tier Tribunals.

The Judge/Chairman asks the Qs of both parties (if there are two), but mainly of the Appellant.
Please be polite to OPs and remember this is a site for Claimants and Appellants to seek redress against their bank, ex-boss or retailer. If they wanted morality or the view of the IoD or Bank they'd ask them.

The presenting officer can ask questions of the appellant.
