I have just bought a new PC with Win10 but cannot sync the handheld to my PC. I have all the old discs, manuals, etc. and have searched the net for help. I will be lost without my PDA.
I know I am a bit of a luddite but can anyway help in advising me how to get the programme back on my PC and working.
Thanks.

I don't think you can. I had trouble synching to W7 and had to resort to using my phone instead of the Palm.0

Do you have your old PC, it's 14 years since I've used a Palm, but I seem to recall you can convert the data to other formats, I suspect it's now the time to update to a more modern system.
Have you checked whether HP have any legacy Palm tech pages0 -
Thanks for your replies. I suspected this was the case but hoped I could still use old faithful. Well one of my phones will have to be my new diary.0

Stick a supported operating system in a virtualbox VM?0

Using a free application such as Virtualbox ( https://www.virtualbox.org/ ) you can run one operating system inside another.
You could use this to run say, Windows 98, Windows XP, whatever best supports your Palm, inside your main operating system.
You could then sync your palm to this. You probably wouldn't want to use such an outdated OS for anything else.
Here is an example/guide where they install XP.

DON'T GIVE UP - It cane be done! I've a Palm Tunsten T3 syncing to a W10 computer, but I'm no luddite, just nostalgic. That Windows article might be the answer - basically just about the last version of Palm Desktop that existed. Let me know if that lot works and we can look into it further.
You would do very well to set up sync of your contacts and calendar to a Google account or similar (Google worked well for me, I haven't re-entered my contacts since 2001 on a Palm m100!).0
