Legoland trip with 6 and 7 year old

Options
Has anyone advice for making the most out of a two day legoland trip? We will aim to take a picnic. Are there areas for kids or are they all spread out? Is there a clever order to do the park in? Thanks

Erm legoland is all for kids. At 6 and 7 i would think they can go on everything as there are few height restrictions (other than needing an adult to accompany them, need one adult per child rider)

If you have 2 days, it doesnt matter what order you do the park in, as thats plenty of time to cover all rides, even if queues are long. Just be there when gates open as queues are at their longest around 1-2pm, so aim for lunch around that time. Also take a change of clothes and towels, as if the weather is nice, you can easily spend an hr or two in the splash park

We have done Legoland twice now with our two boys first time approx 3 and 6 and then approx 6 and 9. Both times we drove to nearby hotel and went to Legoland the next day and then drove home and end of second day that worked really well for us. We struggled to find a supermarket the first time before sat nav but worth sussing one out. Food is expensive in the park. The cars where children learn to drive and get a licence and the fire engines seemed to be the busiest rides for this age. The park is on a slope which we had not realised - entrance is at top, not a problem and there is a train you can come back up on when legs are weary. Most of activity is outside. Hope you have a great time. There are few rides 6/7's will probably not be tall enough for but loads to do.

I go every couple of weeks with 1 or both of my kids.

There are plenty of places dotted around to sit and eat a picnic, some green areas to sit on the grass or other areas with picnic benches, you'll have no problem finding a spot wherever you are.

Get there early and head straight to the far side, laser raiders can get stupid 2hr plus queues, so get straight on that while it's quiet if you can.

There's a few rides where you will get wet or very wet (viking river splash, pirate falls, raft racers), so maybe do them all together, so you're not getting wet, dry, wet, dry all day, unless you want to of course.
