Mira shower control box

I have a Mira Vier shower that has been working perfectly but has just decided that the control box is out of range. I have changed the batteries and tried changing the frequency. All I get is the out of range icon or Err.

Any suggestions before I pay over £100 for a call out?

Phone Mira directly and quote them the part/serial number on the controller - there have been known issues with them in the past and if yours turns out to be in that category, they will send you a replacement out.
