Non-drivers insuring a car?
Hi, I know this is going to seem like a silly question but I just wondered if anyone knew the answer to this - Is it possible for someone who doesn't hold a driving license (not even a provisional) to insure a car that they own (and is registered to them)? many thanks cel x

Why?
I can only assume it is a car you are rebuilding or one you just look at.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4.............................NCFC member No: 00005.........

Yes. You can be the non-driving dude who legally and financially owns the car and therefore has beneficial interest in insuring the car. You just tell the insurers who the main driver is.The man without a signature.0

Thanks so much, she legally owns the car (she bought it and is registered owner now) but doesn't drive. It was registered to her ex initially but when they split - she insisted her ex transferred back to her (which he did without question or problem). She knows she has to insure/tax it but was worried she wouldn't be able to without a license.:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0

The tax is different.
You sign a SORN that the vehicle is not being used or kept on the road. (if you keep it on the road it will need tax)
