Amazon TV on Freesat?

I've been Money Tipped!
I've got a Humax box and Samsung telly. I've already got Netflix through freesat, but would also like to subscribe to Amazon Prime.

Is freesat ever likely to offer Amazon prime and/or is it easy to add Amazon Prime to my current set up.

I am a bit of a Luddite on such matters

Thanks

You may need to get a Amazon Fire stick or something similar or stream from your laptop then HDMI lead to your TV or stream direct to your TV if you have built in wifi, I use a TV connected to my Playstation 4 connected to my wireless router all with cables to stream Amazon video and Netflix

    Amazon Fire stick

    Amazon Fire box

You may get a better picture using a box directly connected to your router with an Ethernet cable because I have noticed streaming movies on my laptop using wifi the picture is average but streaming movies on my Playstation and TV using An Ethernet cable is a lot better

That's kindof up to Amazon, and if they have as easy and cheap a solution as using your tablet, Fire Stick etc to get it onto your TV, they're unlikely to bother. Same applies to your Samsung TV. Netflix have been better at getting themselves onto most platforms.

Can I attempt to explain? Some companies broadcast their programmes via more modern, online methods only, eg Amazon, these tend to be subscription based. Others use more traditional methods either using terrestrial aerials or satellite, which can be either subscription-based or "free-to-air". This latter method is more expensive for the broadcaster. Many companies never make the transfer from one format to the other.
