Awarded DHP

Just want to say that today I have been sent a letter that said I would be awarded DHP to help pay the bedroom tax. This was the first time I have been awarded it since the bedroom tax was introduced in 2013. I think I must have made about three or four applications in the last three years.

This was because I was able to prove that there was no reason for me not to have it. I have told them that I know the bedroom tax is a violation of Article 8 of the European Declaration of human Rights, and that the bedroom tax leaves me without enough money to live on.

AUSTERITY IS A CON!!

If you want to apply for DHP this is the article that helped me: http://tapnewswire.com/2013/03/bedroom-tax-is-thin-end-of-wedge/

I doubt they would have changed the decision based on your quoting EU law... Since you would probably have zero chance of enforcing that law against the council.

You say Austerity is a con, I say socialism is even more of a con... Have you seen South American countries...

I am pleased that you have been awarded your DHP.

I rather suspect this is more to do with your council's finances than the article which you quoted. The money for DHPs is given each year (April?)(as far as I am aware) and once this pot of money is used up then............. It could just be that you applied at the right time when the coffers were full.

The court judgement was made as regards two particular cases in this link.

I do not know your circumstances but if you are occupying a property that is deemed too large for your needs and there are no special circumstances then why haven't you been able to move to a one bed place?

Also, I believe that a DHP is not awarded for an indefinite time so you may find that it is withdrawn and you might have to consider reapplying or other options.

Thank you both for your kindness, I'm glad to see your so pleased for me.

If you want to talk about Venezuela, their government is not in control. The banks, the big corporations and the Rothschilds/Rockefeller etc cabal are the ones running the country, just as they're running ours. So we are living under a Marxist state just as they are. I really have to say that you need to do your research, before you start judging me. Then you might see I am right. What's happening there is what will happen here if we don't fight this tyranny. It's just they are the first country that has fallen to this cabal. Most countries are ruled by this cabal, the ones that aren't are being demonised like Russia, or just disenfranchised like Iceland. Or they contrive a war like in Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria to either take control of their central bank, or to establish one. That's how the American Federal Reserve was set up, they threatened America with a bloody war.

As for why I haven't downsized, it's because all the properties I viewed were not suitable. Not that there is that many to apply for, which of course the government knew all too well of before implementing this sick and illegal (at least by European law it is illegal) policy.

Also in the last few months I have been in debt, which my parents have just paid off, and the extra income I can now use to go to job interviews further afield.
