Ideas for my 30th

Me and the OH both turn 30 next year so we want to celebrate with a big holiday which we have saved up for since 2014. We have a £2k budget. We are thinking of doing either Toronto, Nashville+Memphis or if there is a way we can combine both then we would love to do that too! We ideally would like to go in April around 11th as it would then cover our 5 year anniversary as well otherwise we are happy to go at any time of the year.

I am also planning on doing a weekend away nearer to my birthday in January as well. It's a bit of a cold month so not sure where would be good to go.

Any help or suggestions for website or deals would be great

You can combine the two.....it's what we're doing for our holiday in two weeks time (5 nights in Toronto before heading to Nashville for the CMA Music Festival).

Just price up a multi-city flight on Google flights. Our flight (Heathrow to Toronto - Nashville and then back) comes in at just under £600 each. April should be cheaper.

Warmer places in January include Madeira, Agadir, Marrakech, Canary Islands, Essaouira.

Where in the UK are you?

    !!!!!!

    Another You tube clip

Never done Toronto and Nashville\Memphis together, BUT unlike John I've been to all three.

Toronto in April may be still a but nippy but the city is maybe worth 2 days (CN tower is a must-Watch Towering Inferno before you go ! )and then there's Niagra as an excursiion.

Only passed through Nashville (not a C&W fan) but Memphis was brilliant.
Apart from the fact that the Memphis Belle had been moved (to Washington DC IIRC)

Elvis Graceland home was great ( and I'm not a fan)

National Civil Rights museum (Lorraine motel) was very moving

    BBQ diners were great!
