Car insurance - swapping policyholder and named driver after separate co. car claim?

OH had a prang in his company car yesterday which will (I'm sure) be declared 50:50 by the insurers. Will all be sorted by the fleet policy.
As well as our company car, we have a car that we own. OH is the registered keeper and therefore main policyholder and I'm the (only) named driver.
I know we'll need to declare his company car claim to our own insurers.
Firstly - I know his premium will be hit but will he also lose his NCD? It's a claim but not on this policy. Not sure if NCD is policy-specific or just general?
Secondly - would the premium hike be less at renewal if we switched and made me the main policyholder and him the named driver? Ie does a claim 'cost more' on the premium for a main policyholder than a named driver?
If he'll lose his NCD I'm sure we'd be better swapping as we're with Admiral who'll give me NCD on a new policy for having been a named driver on one of their policies (have never had a car claim).
Since we got the company car, I drive our car a bit more than DH (used to be the other way round) so it wouldn't be inaccurate to make me the keeper/policyholder. I know that we'd have to transfer the V5C to me - I read that only a limited number of insurers will accept a policyholder who's not the registered keeper - so we'd lose a few £££ on the road tax. So just trying to work out if it's worth bothering.

His own NCD is not impacted in any way because of this incident.
Do dummy quotes with you as the policyholder and him as the named driver and vice versa to see if there is any advantage in changing over the policy to you.0 -
Phew - thanks! Not losing his NCD is a relief.0
