HP laptop just died

Brought myself a new HP touchscreen laptop less than a month ago. Was on it earlier this afternoon when it just froze and then a message came up saying something like "your computer has an error and will restart" it had a countdown on it and it reached 100% pretty fast but then just stopped. I waited for over half an hour and still nothing so I pressed the power off button.
I tried to turn it back on this evening but no joy at all.
Hubby looked at it using and managed to get a battery test and hard drive test done which said everything was ok but then failed the processor test. Does this mean that it is now dead?

A month old? Back to the shop, I think. If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person.0

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 states within 30 days of sale you can demand a refund for faulty goods, no need to fobbed off with a repair/replacement0

HP are a well-known brand and a replacement should be OK. I think you have just been unlucky.marcsshell wrote: »It's going back tonight. Not sure if to ask for a replacement or refund. If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person.0
