Impressive! Just had a count up and I'm "only" on 14 current accounts:
2 x Natwest - my actual long-term main current account and a joint Reward account for 3% cashback on household bills
1 x Nationwide Flexaccount - joint for the free travel insurance for both of us (waiting for the 12 months to expire before I can have another FlexDirect) and RS access
3 x Halifax Reward for the £5/month
1 x Co-op Everyday Reward for the £4/month
2 x TSB Current Plus for 5% and RS access
1 x Club Lloyds for 4% and RS access
2 x Tesco for 3%
1 x M&S for RS access
1 x HSBC Advance for RS access and Save Together ISA
Not much is automated as I prefer to check on them all myself, but it takes maybe 15 minutes on payday and I enjoy updating my spreadsheet.
BoS is next on the list I think. Santander have annoyed me too much in the past on the business banking front so I am not keen to go back there for the moment.
Last time I had to apply for anything in-branch I was asked how many current accounts I had. After a pause and me trying to count up on my fingers, the poor chap said surely it couldn't be more than ten... :rotfl:0 -
i'm currently down to 10 current accounts and 7 credit card accounts.
current accounts all have specific uses, including generating interest as Savings Accounts, generating Reward Payments, generating some Cashback on spending and providing access to Monthly Savers.0
