Cheapest way to add a Learner Driver to my car insurance

I have full no claims on my car insurance and my wife is named as a second driver, she also has full no claims status.
I would like to add my 23 year old daughter who is at the moment a learner driver.
Obviously this means she cant drive without my wife or me being in the car but what I would like is some advice how to find the cheapest way of adding her to my car insurance which is due for renewal in a couple of months.
Any ideas ?

You will probably have to speak to your insurer to get her added.
The cheapest way to do that will be by using work's phone.0 -

Halfords offer learner insurance that sits alongside your own policy. It was around £80 for a month for my partner, fully comp. Take a look on their website for more details.0

Whereabouts on their website?0

is Cunningham still offering, I used them when my son was learning. similar costs.
The beauty is that you can buy a week or a month at a time so it fits in with holidays and if they do have a prang it won't affect the main policy , whereas adding to the main policy will be a 365 addition which may not be used all that often and will affect NCB if anything happens. The downside with a temporary policy is they don't build up NCB on their own.
