Married in Mauritius - do we need to get it attested in the UK to make it legal here?

Absolutely wrong. The marriage is valid, and is already legally recognised in the UK provided that it was legally binding in Mauritius.
So, the only reason the marriage would not be valid and recognised here would be if it was not valid in Mauritius, so you may want to check that you did have all the necessary paperwork etc when you got married.
You will need to produce your marriage certificate if you need proof you are married in the same way you would if you'd been married in the UK.All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)0
