Hi all!

I'm a user of the the Cheap Energy Club(CEC), and today (once more) I tried to save some money in bills, and discovered that GB Energy Suply unit rates and standing charges showed in CEC are different than those in my bill. The deal is the same, Premium Energy Saver.

Gas:
CEC:
Unit rate: 2.783p per kWh
Standing charge: 10.500p/day
In my bill:
Unit Rate: 2.6500p/kWh
Standing Charge 10.00p/day (£36.50/year)

Electricity:
CEC:
Unit rate: 10.028p per kWh
Standing charge: 27.458p/day
In my bill:
Unit Rate: 9.5500p/kWh
Standing Charge . 26.15p/day (£95.45/year)

am I missing something?

Cheers

Double Yup. About £50 a year by not having your gas with Zog. GB's dual fuel is not that competitive IMHO.

Zoe only provides Gas. wouldn't it be cheaper for me to have dual energy?

No, It's frequently cheaper to have your gas & leccy from different suppliers.

    What does the CEC say?
(You'll need to add the separate suppliers anticipated annual costs together manually to compare to the dual fuel cost suggestion)
