Is my letting agent allowed to just walk into my home unannounced?

I have an internet friend who has major health problems and was being severely bullied by the letting agent. He was reluctant to 'bother' the LL because she has health problems of her own but was eventually persuaded that this really was the only way of sorting things out.
A quick work with LL and the agent recieved a rocket up the arris with instructions to back off and behave. There have been no further problems. Hopefully your situation will have a similar resolution.0 -
Google changing a lock. I bought a house. Went to my local DIY shop. Bought a new barrel lock for £13. a screwdriver and 10 minutes - locks changed. It's very very easy to do.0

Have you cut out the middle man and spoken directly with your landlord? Does he want you out or is it just the agent?0
