Parking is very limited in Camden, so you might be best to park up at a tube station with a car park and get that into London. There is a Holiday Inn Express at Camden Lock but it has not got parking.

The Holiday Inn at Camden Lock is a great hotel for location (it's actually a full HI, not an Express) but as above I'd park elsewhere and use public transport.

We were away with a coach holiday and spent a few hours at Camden, loved every single minute of it.
It just buzzed with music, smells, people were just so lovely, Vibrant is the word I think.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

McKneff, vibrant is an excellent way to describe Camden especially on a Sunday when the markets are on. I will use that word instead of buzzing in future.

OP, there is a new Premier Inn at Archway just opened and it is only a 5 min tube journey on the nothern line from there to Camden. It may have some good rates with it being a new hotel.
