Can anyone recommend a laptop?

Hi
Is there anyone who can recommend a laptop for a student?

He has had his current laptop for 4 years and it has been brilliant until he placed it on a surface were it slipped off and the screen cracked etc. Don't think it is worth having it mended.

His current laptop is a Fujitsu AH531 15.6" which someone recommended on this forum.

Much appreciate your advice.

Thank you

Yes, we can recommend a whole bunch of disparate laptops - just like we could recommend cars starting at a small Smart to a large Mercedes.

You must appreciate that we are not psychic, so unless you tell us what the student uses the laptop for, and what he wants of the machine, and what the budget is, the suggestions will be completely random...

    Budget?

    What program to run?

    weight/ battery life/ screen size/ touchscreen?

    HDD size?

Maybe the OP has found providing additional information too difficult...
  • Sorry didn't think...

Want to spend around £350, 2GB+, intel CPU, mircosoft office, no touch screen - screen around 15". Decent enough to watch films and listen to music. Aren't to bother about weight - it will be in and out of a rucksack so needs to be fairly robust.

    Many thanks
