Hi,

My old employement are refusing to give me details of their insurance company from a few years ago, i was involved in a non fault accident with another vehicle, my company says it went through as 50/50 and i lost my vehicle bonus, im looking to challenge that decision and have contacted the company only to be given the run around, i have given them a weeks notice to provide the details, what can be my next step if they fail to provide the details?

can i raise a small claims action in court?

would the police be able to do anything?

If its the companies insurance how did you lose your bonus?

When on the lorries i just handed the insurance paperwork over and took photo's and filled in the claim form and forgot about it. Except one where a car decided to try and squeeze up the inside and his story changed so it was due to goto court but cancelled at the last minute.

It is not a non-fault accident if the insurance company accepted 50/50

As you were not the policy holder I doubt very much that you can demand documentation, assuming that your former employer actually still has the documentation.

I doubt that the Police will have interest in a civil matter.
