Can someone please advise if we have any rights?

We booked and paid for a ski holiday through Monarch to travel during half-term next February with our 2 kids. I have just had a call from Monarch saying that they are pulling out of ski holidays and that we can have a refund. The problem is that I can't find another operator offering the same package at a similar price. Do we have any rights here or do were just have to 'suck it up'?
Many thanks for any advice.

They are offering a refund and that is all you can get, As for looking at them paying the difference in costs you have no chance of this and need to look at other options or pay the difference with a different operator.0

If you've paid at least £100 by credit card, you would be able to lodge a Section 75 claim for consequential losses to cover the cost of obtaining the identical (or equivalent) holiday elsewhere.0

Not true.
Monarch must put you back in to the situation you were in previously, which they have done.
as regard to S75, that is only for unfulfilled contracts - the contract is now null and void therefore waiving any rights as the company do not provide this service any more.
Hope this clears things up.0 -
