I've been reading reviews of barkeepers friend lately and apparently it's good for cleaning copper pots. It better be worth the hype, everyone says how good it is!

I've just tried this method and it works too! Again, a long slog round the pot but it'll keep me warm.

    Thanks

After doing bits with both (not in the same place) the wire wool wins out as it polishes as well as cleans. The barkeeper's friend cleans but doesn't polish.

    Still dead chuffed!
