Hi Guys i have 2 quick questions about house buying
1. Can you complete on a Saturday, Sunday?
2. Can you complete on lets say a Tuesday and move out on the Wednesday? Or does the person selling need to move out on the day of Completion?
Thank You

1. If the solicitors will work on saturday or sunday and you can organise the money transfer to occur think the bank may need to give a final ok too? So practically, no.
2. Nope, move out the day you complete. You could agree with the buyer that you move out the day after completion but this is a bad idea for the buyer (risk to them you don't leave when you say you will) so will be unlikely to allow it (lender won't like it either and wouldn't allow it).0 -
You can move before completion or on the day (preferably out by early afternoon). However after the property isn't yours so you shouldn't be there even if the buyer isn't moving in that day. Plus the contract you signed usually is confirming you'll give the buyer vacant possession of the property which means no one should be living there.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0
