I have not heard of anyone successfully getting rid of a meter but again, it will be different for each authority. Maybe the SW is not plagued with this issue yet because you guys have the opposite problem with rainfall?

Sorry Dan-Dan, I only just saw this.
Dwr Cymru bizarrely base their water rates on how many bathrooms there are in the property, so because my property is a 3 bed bungalow with two bathrooms the rates were £660. Even though there's only two of us. Metered water is so much cheaper for us because it's just two of us.0 -
