Standard Home insurance or Landlords Insurance?

Hi, currently I've rented out my house to some tennants but I'm planning on moving in and maybe letting one or two tennants stay on with me. Previously I've had Landlords insurance but wanted to know if I'm living there with the tennants, am I still obliged to buy Landlords insurance or can get the standard home insurance?
Thanks in advance!

You should be able to get standard household insurance however you will have to disclose the fact that you have a lodger(s) living with you. Household policies state
"The home is occupied by you, your spouse and family members permanently residing with you"
Most of the "Direct" household insurers will decline you straight away when you mention the lodgers however a broker should be able to help you0
