Do Amex still offer the Harrods card? is there an annual fee for this card?

Don't see it on their website, but the annual fee is/was £150 a year.

I think you have to apply through Harrods as its not direct amex

seems to have gone from the website. when it was there it was 'invitation only'. a friend of mine has it, at least last i knew he did. dark brown, rather than dark green, for some reason.

Yes, and it is still by invitation only (to Harrods Reward Member).

(if you google "Harrods American Express" you still get to the page.

I know someone that got married and in the same year bought the engagement ring, and both wedding bands from the T&Co concession within Harrods, and also bought few expensive items by topping up Gift Cards and within a short time received an invitation to apply

I believe it is a gold Amex equivalent but you get Harrods rewards and depending on spending you get special rewards which used to include trips and luxury hotels stays
