Family Traveller

Family Traveller would like you to write a story about the ocean. It could be an account of a family holiday by the seaside, or perhaps a boat trip you once took, or a fantasy story about the ocean. And don’t worry if you haven’t been anywhere exotic. We’d like to hear about anywhere, from Brighton Beach to Bora Bora! Articles and stories should be no more than 500 words in length, and there are two age categories: Under-10 (3-9) and 10-and-over (10-16).

The winner in each age group will have their article published in Family Traveller. They will also win a fabulous family holiday for four to the Balearic island of Ibiza, worth £4,000 per family, along with the opportunity to write another article about Ibiza for Family Traveller on their return.
