Can I get a refund? Help

Options
We have just come away on holiday to a lovely lodge in the uk. Unfortunately the hot tub is not working. Now the site have offered us to move to another lodge however the move would mean down grading. We are currently in the best lodge they offer. I refused to move as I would have to sacrifice the little things like ceiling fans etc but these are a must with a 6 month old in this heat.
how I see it is they must move us into the same standard lodge or better?? If not can I get a refund, and how much?? 100% or...

How much do they charge for a lodge without a tub? If you really want refunding see what the difference is.
Life is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.

Have you explained why you don't want to move? They might be able to offer alternatives such as free-standing fans, to reflect the fact that they dont have ceiling fans in the other, or (if they are not fully booked) they could offer you the option to use the hot tub forthe epmty lodge while staying in the one you originally booked.

Of course you are not entitled to 100% refund. You may be entitled to a efund of the difference between the lodge you booked and the one you are moved to, or to a refund equivalent to the difference in cost between a lodge with a hot tub and one without.

They did offer us to use a hot tub in an empty lodge. However we only want to use the hot tub at night when the baby is asleep and we can have the baby monitor on.
So it's pointless really as I can't leave the baby in our lodge to go use another hot tub.
I guess I can see the price of a lodge without a hot tub and get the difference refunded.
    Thanks for the feed back
