There is also the £40k on credit cards to take into account alongside the employers claim.0

Hi LJ,
I'm New to posting on this site 2 but, i can hand on heart say, after spending a while reading about other peoples problems an the replies an advice they've recieved form others you've picked a great place 2 come. i've found 99.9% of the posts Helpful, Sympathetic an definately non judgemental.
How can others Judge you without having walked in your shoes? Desperate Times sometimes make us do things we later regret, i know that from personal experiance. So please take some comfort in being around the people here who will not judge, i'm sure they'll just try an help.
Good Luck, you're not alone.0 -
Thanks guys for all your messages. Not logged in for a while but I have been looking.
Nothing much has changed.
Looks like I will be going BR and there are still loads of uncertainties like the house, our joint bank account (where my husbands wages are paid into and all the bills go out of!).
Solicitor says that BR seems to be the route I will have to take and to let my employer do that then he pays the fees etc..
Do you think I should mention to my solicitor about the or costs and whether or not to say to my employer that he'll get sod all after he's paid to destroy me?
Stat demand was served on 3rd sept and there is 18 days before anything happens I think.
Must say that it still scares me s**tless and the worst part is not really knowing what will happen. My solicitor is not much cop but it's legal aid so can't really chuck my weight around.
Creditors ringing quite a lot but most a quite reasonable at the moment.
Have been offered a p/t job which would help but not sure if it will affect the legal aid I need for my criminal proceedings. Wouldn't be earning very much more than JSA but it will take my mind off things while i'm at work i guess.
Managing to keep my husbands cards & loans paid and up to date in the hope that he will stay relatively unaffected credit wise.
Relationship is very strained as the money is starting to run out... I feel like I should be doing something but i'm in this lull period where i feel completely useless.0 -

Mention to your Ex Employer that you have also £40k to further reduce his bit when the equity is distributed.
There is not enough Equity after costs for the OR to want to seek possession of the property to realise the beneficial interest and I doubt the Ex Employer will go further unless he is vindictive.

Very vindictive I'm afraid. Thinks I've made him look stupid so seems to be out to destroy me.....0 -
Very good news about the part-time job. This means you will have a continuing employment record and on your future CV or future job applications this will be your current/last employer.
As well as the 'keeping you busy' benefit this is really important when you are looking for future work.- Reason for leaving last/current job - won't be dismissal
- Reason for looking for new post - perhaps, working part-time and want to work full time
- If you build up a good track record with your new part-time employer they will provide references that reflect that.
Good luck0
