Hi there,
I recent applied for an AMEX.
I got a letter (handwritten address???) saying they would like:
a) An original payslip
b) an original bill as proof of address.
with an envelope to send it back to them.
I find this a bit odd. I have no problem providing these but at this point would they have run some sort of check on me already to check eligibility? There was no marker on my credit report.
