Have forgotten password for local account and have burnt a password recovery disc.
How do I boot from it ?

What's your computer? May need to go into BIOS and add "Boot from DVD" option.0

Just thinking about what you're doing, I'm not sure if your "password recovery disk" is a boot disk. When the login prompt comes up, type a random password, enter and is there a "reset password" prompt? That's where you'll need your "password recovery disk". I'll just check this on a W10 rig...
EDIT: W10 is different. damn.
EDIT2: assuming you have a boot disk, the H30 manual says F12 will present a Startup Device list0 -
