Urgent flight needed - please help!

I need to fly as soon as possible from Sofia, Bulgaria to Dublin, Ireland.

Ryan Air don't fly from Sofia and their Wednesday flight from Bucharest airport in Romania (an airport I can get to in the same time it takes to get to Sofia) is sold out and the next flight is Friday. I already have a ticket for Monday 23rd, but need to bring it forward.

EasyJet don't fly to Ireland from Bulgaria either. My head's a bit mashed... can anyone out there please help me find options for flying to Ireland from Bulgaria (any airports) or from Bucharest (Romania) to any airport in Ireland (though ideally Dublin)

Many thanks in advance.

Nothing found on flight-checker... any other suggestions? I'm looking for a direct flight due to mobility and health issues making this difficult (though not impossible if there is no alternative)

    No direct flights on skyscanner.

10 pm tomorrow (Monday) Ryanair Sofia to Stanstead, 6.30 am Stanstead to Dublin. £150 one-way

Easy to find on the first flight search site I tried (cheapflights.co.uk)

Although Ryanair's own website doesn't show it as a through-route, but booking as two separate flights should work
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.

Domestic flight to another airport that will get you to Dublin maybe?

Athens, Istanbul, Budapest? Have a look online for domestic flights to hubs that go to Dublin/Belfast.

    Only suggestion I have.

Gosh you people are so good at helping folk out!

I hope the OP gets sorted, but there are some options out there now, thanks to those who helped OP out.

    Well done you lot.
  • Thanks everyone. I've found the connecting flights and that may be the way to go, but if anyone can find a direct flight that would be wonderful as health issues make a connecting flight very difficult (is it too late to contact airlines requesting support as disabled... cannot get up steps unaided or whilst carrying even the smallest handbag

Sorry, I should have put that in the original post... difficult to think logically and rationally right now.

Blue air fly Bucharest to Dublin direct on Tuesday morning for £140.

  • Thank you so much for the Blue Air flight details. Flight is booked and I'll be in Dublin 9.15 tomorrow morning.

I am overwhelmed by the kindness of strangers. You are GOOD people and I'm very grateful for the assistance when I was unable to focus on finding what I needed for myself.

    Thank you again.
