Widening boundary wall

Hi, this is my first post on here so please bear with me.
I am thinking of widening the gate opening of my boundary wall to allow access for a trailer and motorbike. There is an existing opening with a 1 metre gate and I am looking to double the opening to 2 metre and attach gates. I am a homeowner. Can anybody see any problems with me doing this law wise? It's not an ancient wall and was erected when the house was built 10 years ago.

    Are you creating an opening large enough to allow vehicular access across a pavement? A dropped kerb will be required.
