what veggie meals can i use my slow cooker for??

Follow any slow cooker recipe you like the sound of but replace the meat. I like to replace it with chick peas or lentils.

I buy packets of dried beans and pulses and cook them in my slow cooker. When they are cooked I freeze them in bags or tubs and then I have a constant supply to use. I also don't have to carry tins from the supermarket and they are a lot cheaper

Many beans and pulses need to be soaked and then vigorously boiled for ten minutes to remove toxins, so to me if I have to faff about with one pan there's then no point moving them to another to double the washing up.
