Joint mortgage not showing on my credit files.

Hi,
Wondering if anyone could shed some light on this for me, please?
My other half and I took out a joint mortgage from the Halifax in March. The mortgage is showing on all three of his credit files but on none of mine.
Is this usual? I expected it to appear on mine also.
Thanks.

I might be broke but happy but I'd happily not be broke!

Usually this suggests that its been linked to someone with a similar name/dob as you0

What?! Really? I doubt that- I have a really unusual name- a mixture of an Irish first name and a very uncommon surname- if I google it I'm the only one who comes up! Surely there's another explanation.I might be broke but happy but I'd happily not be broke!0

Hi there,
The mortgage lender may simply not have reported the data to the credit reference agencies for yourself. If you want this to be corrected you should write/ email the bank and explain your concerns and they should then update their records and your credit files. If they refuse to (for any unknown reason) or if you do identify a problem then I would suggest that you make a formal complaint and escalate it to the Financial Ombudsman and the Information Commissioner. The banks should report accurate data to the credit agencies. Good luck,
Laura

Perhaps the lender have misspelled your unusual name and this is meaning it is not linked to you0
