The Naked Trader by Robbie Burns is a good read too.

I agree that rich dad poor dad isn't the greatest. More inspirational and anecdotal with sprinklings of sentiment. (I personally don't believe half of the 'true' stories actually occurred either!)

He does use a couple of good quotes though. One I thought hit the spot so well that I've been using it in my signature for the last few months.

Oh dear, well yes, I bought it for £1. No practical tips in there but for the interest that it sparked and my financial awakening it could turn out to be the best £1 I will ever spend.

I would agree the other books have been much better. I have been really enjoying reading monevator posts over the past few days (unfortunately slightly to the detriment of my medical end of year exam revision). Smarter Investing is in the post, can't wait. Thanks everyone for your guidance.
