Chrome running slow or freezing

This week I have had a lot of trouble with Chrome. I reinstalled it but it didn't fix the problem. Basically its running slow or freezing and constantly gives me a box saying 'wait' or 'kill' the page. I did have this problem a few years ago and was told the flash player had probably crashed but I can't remember how I resolved it. Can anyone help please?

I would disable and/or delete all extensions and see if that resolves the issue. If it does then start enabling or reinstalling one at a time to see if is one of them.IITYYHTBMAD0
